Florian has been with Info Retail for eight years. He is IR’s fast-forwarding futurist, where he is constantly engaged in future research and process of design. Florian directs his foresight initiatives toward recognizing and interpreting user behaviors and technologies, and mapping their future potential in service design.

Florian loves to travel and finds inspiration sitting on a train with a notebook, looking out of the window, and watching the landscape passing by. He enjoys sea kayaking and has lead youth trips to remote Swedish lakes; picture Florian with 60 teenagers in raw nature, picking up supplies every five days. Prior to joining Info Retail, Florian was a design instructor at Georgia Institute of Technology and worked at Saro Medien-Design in Essen, Germany.

I believe design and business go hand in hand.
