• Favorite place to shop: Anthropologie
• Future travel plans: tour South America and experience the Latin culture
• Guilty of being a NPR junkie, Betsy listens everyday and the mix of stories of
what's going on in the world keeps her hungry to learn more and stay connected
with the rest of the world

Once upon a time, Betsy worked at Architectural Construction Services as an Associate Store Planner. She arranged merchandise plans for retailers like Macy's and Parisian, and you could frequently find her on site preparing design-intent plans for Starbucks renovations.

Before starting her career, Betsy graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Design. Outside of the studio, Betsy kept busy planning campus events and leading the Student Center Programs Council. As a Student Ambassador, she guided the VIP campus tours for grandkids of the high-roller alumni. She added certificates in Marketing and Spanish to her degree, and spent a fantastic summer in Spain studying sangria and flamenco.

Joining Info Retail allowed Betsy to combine her retail and collegiate experiences in designing, planning, guiding, and exploring. She truly believes that business is personal, and it's the relationships she has in the office and with clients that keep her enthusiasm high. (After all, she was voted Most Spirited in high school.)

Betsy unwinds with an episode of Top Chef while enjoying red wine and dark chocolate with her charming husband, Rick, and delightful shih-tzu, Shelby.

Betsy finds that watching children is entirely inspirational. They don't hide how they feel about something, and there's such an honesty to their reactions when they are pleased or happy. Recreating that authentic, unguarded reaction to a surprising joy is something that design can accomplish for anyone. It just requires focus.

If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.
