SoCon, the southeast's premier social media and networking convention, will take place at Kenessaw State University on Jan 29 and 30th, 2010.
This year, Info Retail will be reporting the highlights of the conference through Twitter. Check out the Twitter feeds for Brooks Ballard (Director of Marketing, Info Retail) and myself, Alisan Atvur (Interaction Architect) for up-to-the-second updates on the events, quotes from the lectures, and insights from your favorite design group.
If you will be in attendance at this exciting event, make sure you don't leave without:
1.) Enjoy a coke while listening to Carol Kruse's keynote (VP, Global Interactive Marketing at Coca Cola.) Kruse is responsible for creating the “My Coke Rewards” program.
2.) Learn from Dan Siroker how he helped Obama utilize social media during the 2008 election. This Stanford graduate was the Director of Analytics for Obama's presidential campaign. Additionally, he is the founder of CarrotSticks.com, an interactive learning tool for kids 1st-5th graders (and my readers know how much I adore instructional technology).
3.) Meet Brooks and Alisan for a coffee. We love designing user experiences, meeting new people, and drinking coffee.
